I have admired you since I was a little preschool girl. I dreamed of meeting you and telling you happy birthday one day. Even though I never got the opportunity to meet you, thank you for all you have done for our country and being such a good role model for little preschool me.โค๏ธ

Condolences to the Panday family for your great loss.
Bas was very dear to our family as both he and my father in law grew up together in St Julien.
For our continuing support to him
and his party - the UNC, he made my wife and I lifetime members of the UNC. We both reside in Couva North
Bas was also master of ceremonies at our wedding in the '80s.
We will miss him, his wit, sense of humour and for the selfless person that he was.
Om sadgati. Rest in Peace our great friend.
