UNC National Women’s Arm Renews Confidence In Kamla Persad-Bissessar, SC

The UNC National Women’s Arm renews its confidence in the astute Leadership of Mrs. Kamla Persad-Bissessar, SC as the democratically elected Political Leader of our great Party, the United
National Congress, and its duly elected National Executive.

The UNC has a solid foundation built on democracy and equality, so we will not be deterred or
mislead by those that are mere political tools of this wicked PNM Government, that will use any means necessary for political power.

The UNC Women’s Arm seeks to remind the public back in 2015 that when reactionary forces sought to crush our great Party by methods so unjust and unwise that our Members were inflamed with indignation!

Mrs. Persad-Bissessar exhibited moral courage of a high order during that time and held our membership together. She has and continues to be an effective advocate for social justice, voting rights, acceptance, economic opportunity, gender and racial equity. She has proven time and time again that she can hit the ground running on day one and whenever needed!

Mrs. Persad-Bissessar is approachable, engaging and genuinely committed to governing well. Over the years the public and our Membership has had the opportunity to observe and evaluate her performance and her honest, pragmatic, and hopeful insight into our country’s problems and needs. Her willingness to examine the issues and listen closely to the public’s questions and concerns, sets her far apart from those who aspire without the political acumen.

We would like to reiterate that Mrs. Kamla Persad-Bissessar is a sensitive, articulate, and intelligent voice that is ready to serve as the next Prime Minister and forming the next government. She she has the strength to stand up to the PNM which continues to have a stranglehold on our country.

We unreservedly re-affirm our commitment to her leadership and condemn anyone who tries to destabilise our efforts to save Trinidad and Tobago with distractions.
