MEDIA INVITATION TO THE LEADER OF OPPOSITION’S 2ND ANTI-CRIME TOWN HALL MEETING NAPARIMA COLLEGE, LUTE DRIVE, SAN-FERNANDO MONDAY 29 JANUARY 2024,

6PM – 8PM

Crime affects everyone. The violent crime crisis in our beloved country must be addressed by a multidisciplinary approach that is created and implemented with inputs from all sectors of society.

Recognising the importance of engaging various stakeholders in the fight against crime, the Leader of Opposition, The Hon. Kamla Persad-Bissessar, SC continues to organise a series of Anti-Crime Town Hall meetings across Trinidad and Tobago.

The objective is to provide a platform where people can unite, share their concerns, and collaboratively devise viable and inclusive solutions to combat the prevailing violent crime crisis.

We firmly believe that a united effort is necessary to address the security challenges we face, and the citizenry’s participation in these talks would significantly contribute to and enhance the collective wisdom necessary in fighting this crime crisis.

Accordingly, the Leader of Opposition hereby invites the media to our second meeting at the Naparima College, Lute Drive, San-Fernando on Monday, 29 January 2024, starting at 6:00 pm.

Presenters include :

Dr Valini Pundit – Clinical Psychologist

Mr Shamshudeen Ayube – Commander -Hunters Search and Rescue Team.

Mr Donny Rogers – Agripreneur

Mr Johnny Abraham – Ret. Senior Superintendent of Police

After the panellists deliver their presentations, the floor will be open for public comments and suggestions.
